Beijing Sport University (BSU), directly under the General Administration of Sport of China, is one of the key universities in China and also a “211” Project University, It is the only university that has the Category I discipline of sport science, which is one of the national key disciplines, and also the only sport university selected into the “111 Project”. Having an outstanding tradition of conscientious teaching and learning, BSU enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad.

Located on the No. 48, Xinxi Road, Shangdi, Haidian District of Beijing, China, BSU covers a total area of around 1,400 acres, with a total construction area of approximately 600 thousand square meters. BSU's modern facilities include teaching buildings, multi-media buildings, 25 gymnasiums and indoor sport halls, 62 outdoor sport fields for track and field, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball and beach volleyball and libraries of 941,500 volumes. BSU offers a vibrant campus culture.

Beijing Sport University has a strong commitment to international communication and cooperation. It has established communication and a cooperative relationship with 76 universities and sports organizations from 34 countries and granted honorable Doctors Degrees to Olympic Games Chairman Jacques Rogge and six other international sports organization leaders and famous experts. The university actively conducts international cooperation to ensure that the academic status and international reputation continues to advance. The entire faculty and student body of Beijing Sport University are striding steadily toward the objective of becoming a “world class sport university”.

The School of International Sport Organizations was established in 2004 as the Foreign Languages Department and was renamed the School of International Sport Organizations in 2017.

The school boasts of 60 members of faculty and staff, of which more than 89% have master’s degree or above, including 1 professor, 22 associate professors and 11 full-time foreign teachers. Each year at least 6 foreign experts are invited to come and teach sport module courses at the University.

Position: Full-time foreign expert (lecturer, associate professor, professor)

Qualifications required:

1. Native-like speakers with the bachelor degree or above

2. At least two years’ teaching experience (preferably at the university level) after graduation from university.

Someone meets any one of the following conditions, can be exempt from the work experience requirements:

--- Master’s degree and above and the majors match with the positions.

--- Bachelor’s degree or above in education or from teacher’s (normal) university;

--- Achieved internationally recognized teaching certificates.

Responsibilities:

--- teaching undergraduate students (12-16 hours/week);

--- grading exam papers and completing relevant documents required by the office;

--- taking part in students’ activities (e.g. judging contests);

--- composing and revising teaching materials.

Class size: Maximum 25 students per class

5. Non-criminal Record (original copy) (issued within 6 months, by departments of Police, Security and Courts of habitual residence and authenticated by Chinese overseas embassies and consulates or oversea embassies in China)

6. 3 Recent ID photo and its .jpg file (white background, 40k~120k bytes, pixel size <="420(width)*560(height)

7. Recommendation letters/ employee reference letters/working records for the last two years of education from the previous employers (including contacts, contacting phone number, official stamp of Personnel Department)
