Job Opportunities: Native English Teachers for English & Sports-Oriented Courses (with Sports/Academic Focus)

The School of International Education and Exchange at Beijing Sport University is seeking experienced and passionate native English-speaking teachers (from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) to teach undergraduate English language and sports-related courses (e.g., Sports Journalism, Sports Sociology, Sports Management, Event Management, Olympic Studies). Candidates are also encouraged to participate in teaching and academic support for postgraduate students majoring Intercultural Communication and Exchange in Sports.

Responsibilities:

l Design and deliver effective and engaging English language courses and sports-related courses to undergraduates (6-10 regular teaching hours per week)

l Participate in teaching and academic support for postgraduate students majoring Intercultural Communication and Exchange in Sports (2-4 classroom hours per week).

l Develop lesson plans, materials, and assessments that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual students.

l Check students’ assignments and provide regular feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their progress.

l Flexible office hours are required to offer extra tutorials to students in need (about 4 classroom hours per week).

l Organize and participate in extracurricular English learning activities for students.

l Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

l Other post-related responsibilities (eg., organize or participate in seminars and faculty development training).

Requirements:

l No Criminal Record. Shall abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China.

l Proficient native English speaker from a recognized English-speaking country (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).

l Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Linguistics, or sports-related fields.

l TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification or equivalent.

l Familiarity with the latest teaching methods and technologies.

l Prior teaching experience is preferred.

职责：

l 为本科生设计并提供有效且引人入胜的英语语言课程及体育类课程（每周常规教学时长6-10课时）。

l 参与体育人文交流方向硕士研究生的教学与学术支持工作（每周约2-4课时）。

l 制定符合课程大纲的教学计划、教学材料及评估方案，满足学生个性化学习需求。

l 批改学生作业，定期向学生提供反馈，并准确记录其学习进度。

l 课外辅导：每周需提供约4课时的弹性办公时间，为有需要的学生提供额外辅导（如答疑、专项训练等）。

l 组织并参与学生的课外英语学习活动。

l 参加院系教学会议及专业发展活动，提升教学技能与学科知识。

l 其他岗位相关职责（如组织或参与研讨会、教师发展培训等）。

要求：

l 无犯罪记录。 应遵守中华人民共和国的法律法规。

l 来自英语为母语国家（美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等）的精通英语母语者。

l 教育、英语、语言学或体育相关领域本科及以上学历。

l TESOL/TEFL/CELTA 认证或同等英语教学资格认证。

l 熟悉最新的教学方法和教学技术。

l 有教学经验者优先。
